Responsibilities will include dropping off and picking up equipment for customers, operating construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (""low boys"") consistent with DOT classification CDL-A, maintaining a driver log and suggesting additional equipment and supplies a customer may need.
Job Requirements: Superior customer service remains the backbone of United Rentals, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a top-notch candidate. To be qualified for this position, the ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures, maintain a clean drivers record, and should possess a diligent attention to safety. A valid Class A CDL driver's license is required and this role will involve frequent lifting of items up to 75lb. As this role is located onsite at a customer location on the oilsands this role is to work a 7 days onsite shift/7 days off shift. Flight to location from Calgary or Edmonton along with accomodations and meals provided.
