Senior Web Developer
Ideal candidates can:
- Perform hands-on coding of new solutions and maintenance of existing code
- Participate in low level design decisions and regular peer code reviews
- Take care of the documentation of code as well as regular status reporting to project managers
- Write unit tests and work closely with QA for bug fixing
Experience developing high-volume and high-traffic applications is highly preferred for this role.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in web development environments (LAMP- primarily PHP, Linux, Apache, MySQL)
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate and deliver creative solutions on time and on budget
- Previous implementations using DHTML, JavaScript and AJAX
- Hands on work in the data layer (writing SQL queries and/or store procedures)
- Mobile development on iOS or Android (a plus)
- Previous experience with Java and .net enterprise solutions (a plus)
- Excellent communication skills
